Idaho State Police are currently investigating a single motorcycle crash that took place on Sunday, June 9th, 2024. The accident occurred at approximately 3:05 p.m. at the interchange of I84 and I86, near Burley, Idaho.

A 62-year-old male from Walnut Creek, California, was traveling eastbound on a BMW motorcycle when he encountered a puddle of water on the interstate. The rider lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in him being thrown into the median, while the motorcycle remained on the roadway.

Despite wearing a helmet, the rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Idaho State Police were assisted by the Cassia County Sheriff's Office in managing the incident.

Juvenile Fatlity in Single Vehicle Crash in Teton County

The Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision that took place on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, at approximately 3:40 p.m. The accident occurred at the intersection of 664 W and 6000 S in Teton County, near Victor, Idaho.

Two juveniles were traveling westbound on 6000 S, driving a red Suzuki King Quad 750 ATV, when they struck a tree. The impact caused both juveniles to be ejected from the ATV.

Emergency responders transported one juvenile to a local hospital via ground ambulance, while the other was airlifted to a hospital. Tragically, one of the juveniles succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
