
Idaho Detectives Ask For Help In Missing Teen Case
Detectives in northern Idaho are asking for help in locating a missing teenager who reportedly was picked up by a biological parent and not returned. An Amber Alert has not been issued in this case to date.
Police in Athol are looking into a missing person case involving 13-year-old Karmen Mock, who was last seen by her grandmother on May 29, 2026. Athol is a community in the panhandle, approximately 130 miles north of Lewiston.
The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office is one of the agencies currently investigating this matter. The office shared details about the missing girl, which were posted on the Idaho Missing Person Clearinghouse/Meta page on June 3.

Mock is 4'8" and weighs approximately 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, according to her profile with IMPC.

Mock was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, and a black hat when she left with her biological parents last Friday. Her grandmother has reported that the teen has yet to return home after an agreed-upon time. No contact has been made with Karmen since June 1, when an acquaintance reported receiving a message from her, according to details provided by IMPC.
