Huge Retail Company Closing All Locations for Good in California by the End of 2024
This year has not been kind to major companies. Some of the biggest clothing chains, restaurant chains, and retail companies have closed multiple locations across the country, with some closing their doors for good. Many places have tried to hang on, filing for bankruptcy, but after a few months have been unable to find success and ended their reign. It has been tough for consumers who enjoy these places to shop or dine at them. Sadly, another big retail company is about to join the list of places to close in 2024, and all the locations in California will be closed by the end of 2024.
Major Retail Company Closing All Locations in California
At this point in the year, with how many companies have closed and which ones have closed, nobody should be surprised anymore. Online sales are killing the retail business, the pandemic is catching up to many companies, and everything has gotten so expensive, that consumers aren't spending like they used to. Nobody is immune it seems. Sadly, LL Flooring, which some may know as Lumber Liquidators, is closing its doors by the end of 2024, and joining a group they hoped to avoid. The good news is that they will still be open for a little bit, but they will no longer be accepting new installation appointments going forward.
LL Flooring Closing All Stores in California
LL Flooring filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, hoping to keep things going as they closed multiple locations across the country. Unfortunately, their time to get things turned around has run out, and they are now looking to go out of business. Currently, there are 37 stores in California alone, and in the next few months, they will all be closed. The company estimates it will take about 12 weeks to end all operations nationwide, and that began on September 6. Unless you can install flooring yourself though, you might be out of luck getting someone to do it for you, but you might be able to find some good deals on their other products as they look to close the stores down.
This year continues to be unkind to many businesses and while it leaves many looking for jobs and these companies are hurting by shutting down, the real people suffering are the customers. Thank you for all the floors you installed and all the years LL Flooring, we will miss you, as you join the group of major companies that have disappeared in 2024.
