
Idaho State Police Reported Multiple Accidents on a Highway in Idaho Falls
A series of accidents was reported by the Idaho State Police on a highway in Idaho Falls.
Three civilian vehicles and a tow truck were mentioned in the report.

According to the ISP report, there was an initial accident on US20 at mile marker 313 involving one vehicle that had crashed. While a tow truck was responding to the scene, a separate accident happened when a vehicle slowed for the emergency vehicle and was hit from behind by another vehicle.
A 25-year-old-male, from Rigby, was driving eastbound in a 2017 Audi A4. The Audi A4 went off the roadway, through a fence, and came to rest near the railroad tracks.
A tow truck responded to the scene to assist with removal of the Audi. The ISP report goes on to share the following information:
A 34-year-old female, from Rexburg, was driving eastbound in a 2020 GMC Acadia. The GMC Acadia slowed down for emergency crews in the area and was then struck from behind by a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep was driven by a 68-year-old female from Idaho Falls.
The driver of the GMC was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance. All occupants in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts. ISP is investigating the accidents. A time wasn't given for when the accidents happened, but the news release was shared a few minutes after 7PM on September 10th.

ISP also reported two fatal accidents in their news releases. A rollover accident involving a cargo truck in Lincoln County claimed one life, and a crash involving an elderly driver, who police believe suffered a medical emergency while driving, claimed another life near Twin Falls.
