Chip Sealing and Street Closures Continue in Twin Falls for 2024
There's always something happening on the streets of Twin Falls and often that something is a thing that causes road closures.
Many roads have been closed at times during the summer for construction and repairs, and that continues with the second phase of chip sealing in Twin Falls.
What Streets are in Phase B of the Twin Falls Chip Sealing in 2024
The City of Twin Falls announced in a News Flash that the first phase of their season street maintenance is done and the second phase began today, August 12th. Crews are recovering some streets with a layer of oil and small gravel, called chip seal. The chip seal creates a new surface and vehicles aren't allowed on them until the seal dries and crews remove the work signs.
The majority of streets in Phase B are in the Presidential Streets. The full list is posted on TFID.org.
The final day of Phase B chip sealing is expected to be August 28th on Filer Ave between Washington and Blue Lakes.
