The Idaho State Police are currently investigating an early morning injury accident involving two vehicles on a Southern Idaho highway east of the city of Twin Falls. One driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 30 and 2500 East, also known as Curry Crossing, by the railroad tracks. ISP stated in the report that the accident happened around 6:47 AM on Friday, February 20th.

In the ISP report, it shared the following info about the vehicles and occupants involved in the crash:

  • A 2022 Toyota Tacoma, driven by a 31-year-old male from Twin Falls, was southbound on 2500 East Road.
  • A 2016 Dodge Durango, driven by a 39-year-old male from Meridian, was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 30.
  • The Tacoma entered the intersection and was struck by the Durango.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and the driver of the Tacoma was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The crash blocked one lane of westbound traffic for about 2 hours. KMVT shared a photo of one of the vehicles involved in the accident on their social media.
