Viral Videos Show Many Women Don’t Know What Language is Spoken in Idaho

Nobody knows everything. Not even my wife, and she knows a lot. But it’s still surprising, and sad, when the internet gifts us videos of people who don’t know basic information. I’m willing to let the memes slide that try to make you feel dumb for not know the order of operations in math, because I hate math. And maybe if you don’t know if collision has double L’s or S’s, or both, that’s forgivable.

But if you live in the United States and don’t know what language we speak in Idaho: unforgivable. And it isn’t just that question; it’s simple math and geography questions these people get wrong.

It isn’t 100 percent fair that it’s only women getting asked the questions in these videos, since I’m sure there are men who would also get it wrong. But the @whatever podcast, that’s what they do, they bring in women who think they are top-notch and ask them questions.

Each of these videos has tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of views, totaling around a million views. If you want to get to the Idaho parts in each of these, jump towards the end of the videos. It’s usually one of the last questions asked.

They have a little trouble remembering who we fought against for our independence in this one.

They don’t even know how many letters are in the alphabet.

They also weren’t sure what E-Y-E-S spells, so, there’s that.

For the record, we do speak 'Idahoian'...kind of.
