Warning To Idahoans: Do NOT Pass Out This Candy At Halloween
It's that special time of year again.
The leaves are falling. School is back in full swing. Literally everything is covered in pumpkin spice. Oh yeah, and it's almost Halloween!
And when it's almost Halloween, that means it's time for that special annual reminder to any home-dwellers that will be handing out candy for Trick-Or-Treaters on October 31st this year.
We're not here to talk to you about razer blades in your 3 Musketeers, or hard drugs shoved inside a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Oh no. This is much more nefarious.
There's one candy that you should never, under any circumstances, hand out to children on Halloween.
That's right.
Black Licorice.
Not because it's dangerous. Not because it's deadly. Because it sucks. And nobody likes it.
While you may believe you know someone who enjoys the near-death taste of black licorice, you don't. You never did, they don't exist, and you're currently experiencing hallucinations.
There is, however, one single instance in which we strongly advise you do hand out black licorice at Halloween: If you're moving in November and hate all your neighbors.
Again, that's the only exception. Because black licorice is awful.

Now that we've got that cleared up, let's talk about the other important Halloween-adjacent topic on everyone's minds: Costumes.
