When you think of course in Idaho. Your brain most likely goes to Boise State. The blue Turf is Iconic, the campus is located right in downtown Boise, and it's the biggest school in Idaho. But just because it's the biggest doesn't really mean it's the best according to a new ranking.

A new study was done on all of the colleges in America. Out of all the colleges in the country three Idaho colleges were named as some of the best in the country but 1 of the biggest Idaho colleges, Boise State University, was not included in this study.

It is slightly shocking that two of the biggest schools in our state didn't even crack the top 500 for best colleges in America. However three other Idaho colleges did.

Coming in at number 151 the top school in Idaho according to this ranking is the College of Idaho. Coming in at number 406 was the University of Idaho. Then, coming in at 414 was Northwest Nazarene University.

Obviously, the big Idaho school missing from this ranking... Boise State University.

This ranking was determined by Admission Rate, Net Cost, Student-Faculty Ratio, On-Campus Crime, Gender & Racial Diversity, Graduation Rate, Post-Attendance Median Salary.

Out of 500 schools Boise State did not make the cut for the best schools in the country but at least 3 other Idaho schools did. Though we're sad Boise State missed the mark at least some other Idaho schools were given this shout out.

Boise State may have missed this ranking but at least they were featured here:
