Today, I learned that there's yet another thing I didn't know.  We found one of these on our door today.  At first, I thought it was a notice about chip sealing but upon further inspection, I guess it's not so much about chip sealing but seal coating... which is different, right? Or maybe they're related?  Then again, as the notice states, they might be sweeping.  That's probably a good idea.  That way, they can sweep up the rocks that didn't get mashed into the pavement by our cars, right?

Bottom line.  If you see one of these on your door, you should move your car.  Otherwise, they won't be able to chip seal / seal coat / street sweep without getting your car involved.  Which leads to my next question:  What happens to your car if you leave it on the street?
