RV traveler in Idaho who came upon some road onions that had fallen from a truck. He was so excited to find these free onions that he made a video documenting his luck as he collected a bag full of onions. I can only imagine how he would have reacted coming upon this recent food-related accident here in Idaho. Yesterday morning,
near Pocatello a potato truck had toppled over, spilling the contents across the highway 30. There were so many potatoes that the road was partially blocked for a few hours as crews worked to clear the mess.

The potato related accident and the partial road closure prompted the Idaho State Police to post the most Idaho tweet I've ever read. Along with a picture of the mess they wrote 'Several taters were bruised...but most are doing well. Please don't stop in the road to pick up any loose taters.' I feel like that last sentence was directly aimed at our onion loving RV rover. That's a bummer too because in my story last week I basically hoped he would come across some road potatoes to go with his stash of onions.

I hope he makes another video if he comes back through the Gem state and maybe he'll grab some potatoes to go with his onions.

According to the East Idaho News, the accident happened on Highway 30 near the Simplot plant close to Pocatello on Tuesday morning.
