Idaho’s congressional delegation is reacting this morning to the news that Osama bin Laden is dead. U.S. Rep. Mike Simpson said while the news is worth celebrating, it is important to remember the victims of terrorism.

At least nine Idahoans have died in the war in Afghanistan and in the attacks on 9/11. Among them  19 year old Army specialist Adam Davis  of Twin Falls  who died July 23rd 2007, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador says the news of Osama’s death should make every American proud.  Labrador says now that Osama is dead..it’s also the time for the U.S. to begin pulling out of Afghanistan. U.S. Sen. Jim Risch says the death of Osama bin Laden is good for America and vindication for the Sept. terrorist attacks led by Al-Qaida. Risch, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, found out about the news just about an hour before the rest of us did last night.  Risch says bin-Laden’s death also means America must be cautious about Al-Qaida-led reprisals.
