The Idaho Transportation Department will be shutting down a section of Interstate 84 on Friday. According to KIVI, there will be a "short-term overnight closure on eastbound I-84 at the Northside Interchange [Exit 35] on Friday, March 6." The closure will only last four hours, however, from 12 a.m. - 4 a.m.

If you're planning to travel through that stretch during those hours, you won't experience too much of a delay. According to KIVI, you'll be able to detour by exiting at Northside, then re-entering the freeway on the on-ramp just after the overpass. Northside Boulevard will not be affected by the closure.

The closure will allow crews to "safely perform roadway maintenance I-84." You can check out a map of the scheduled closure HERE.
