Here Are the Five Most Awkward Financial Moments
A survey from PR Newswire by CouponCabin.com asked people what they thought was the most awkward money-related moment.
Surprisingly, only 17% of people said that splitting the dinner check among a large group of people was awkward. Here are the five things that finished ahead of it:
1.) Having your credit card declined: 40% said it was awkward. (--People could pick more than one thing, so the percentages add up to more than 100%.)
2.) Being asked to donate to charity by friends, relatives, or coworkers: 34%.
3.) Saying no to a panhandler who asks for money: 30%.
4.) Comparing salaries with coworkers: 30%.
5.) Chipping in for a group gift with coworkers: 25%.
