Matthew Broderick, star of the iconic "Ferris Buhler's Day Off," reprises his famous role for a new Honda CRV campaign that hits all the right notes.

In the 1986 cult classic directed by John Hughes, Broderick plays "Ferris Buhler," a free-wheeling con man who just wants a day off from school to spend with his girlfriend and best friend. The film becomes a race against time to get Buhler home before he can be busted by the school principal or his sister.

In the new spot, Broderick just wants a day off from acting so he can go tool around in his Honda CRV. The commercial reprises many of the film's famous jokes, and leaves one of the best jokes for last. And it's actually pretty good.
