Celebrate The Beginning Of Winter With A Winter Party In Twin Falls
It is officially Christmas week. Kids are out of school, wrapping presents needs to be done, cookies need to be baked and Christmas lights need to be looked at. There is much to do and of course family and friends in town to entertain. If you are looking for a way to get the kids and family out of the house, enjoy the holiday festivities and also not spend any money, then there is a perfect event taking place in Twin Falls.
Winter Party In Twin Falls
Southern Idaho Pride will be putting on a Winter Party at the Twin Falls Public Library on Thursday, December 23 from 4 PM to 6 PM. The event is free and will also be a lights tour. The event will not focus on any particular holiday and is being advertised as a winter party, so there will be no holiday music being played. No matter what religious background you have or sexual orientation, this event is for everyone.
What Is A Winter Party
The event will have a cocoa bar for those that want different kinds of hot cocoa. There will be a gingerbread-making station, activities, trivia, and prizes. One of the more fun parts will be the white elephant exchange, which will be a no buy-in version. Bring something from home that you are ok giving away and see who ends up with it, as well as what you end up with.
Caravan And Carpool Light Tour
After the get-together at 6, there will be a caravan to go see Christmas lights in the area, which include "The Candy Cane House" and the botanical gardens. If anyone requires a ride, one can be arranged. You do not have to attend both activities, you can attend just the party or just the light tour.
Get the kids, the family and invite your friends, and head to the Public Library and enjoy a winter party this week. Have fun, win some prizes, make a gingerbread man, and get to know some people in the community. Take a light tour and enjoy all that the holidays have to offer in Twin Falls this season. Winter is here.
