With Halloween parties already being scheduled, and Trick or Treat on Bish’s Street planned for Thursday, October 31st, you need a Halloween costume and you need it soon.

Halloween isn't just for kids! With a little creativity you can put together a great Halloween costume right here in Twin Falls.

You have two options facing you: Buy a pre-made costume, or go crazy and make your own. Both have their pros and cons. If you want quick and easy, but perhaps fewer options, go pre-made. If you want to let your imagination go crazy this Halloween, but risk not find exactly what you're looking for, make your own!

There are plenty of great places in Twin Falls to put together your Halloween costume, but we had to narrow it down to the best of the best. These places will most likely have what you're looking for this year, and if you can't find it at one, the other will probably have it. These are your Twin Falls Halloween Costume Headquarters.

Here are our top five stores to put together a great Halloween costume.

    Wal-Mart

252 Cheney Drive West, Twin Falls

Wal-Mart always has a great selection of costumes for adults and kids, plus all the accessories you need to really trick out your costume. The nice thing about Wal-Mart is that after you’re done costume shopping you can head over to toys, check out electronics, and get that winter coat you’ve been thinking about and something for dinner. And we know you’ve been eyeing that adult Ninja Turtle costume.

    Walgreen’s

306 Blue Lakes Blvd North and 1732 Washington St N, Twin Falls

I usually think of Walgreen’s in the middle of the night when I’m sick and I need Nyquil or cough drops, but they have a great selection of Halloween costume goodies as well. Think of it this way: see what you’re wearing? Stop in to Walgreen's and grab some fangs and fake blood and VOILA you’re a vampire or a zombie.

    Halloween City

    1605 Blue Lakes Boulevard North

Our seasonal costume shop, Halloween City specializes in everything Halloween. They don't usually open until a bit closer to Halloween. Been trying to find that perfect pink tutu to complete your fairy princess outfit? You’ll probably find it here. This year Halloween City has moved into the WinCo/Target shopping center on Blue Lakes Blvd.

    Poindexter’s

257 Main Avenue West, Twin Falls

They say you can’t party without Poindexter’s, and I would agree. Serving the Greater Twin Falls Are since 1999, Poindexter’s has what you need for Halloween from the right costume to that perfect accessory. Plus if you don’t want to sink the cash into owning a costume, you can rent one from Poindexter’s.

    The D.I.

    722 Cheney Drive, Twin Falls

Deseret Industries, known to locals as ‘The D.I.”, is great for do-it-yourself costume building. Grab a bridesmaid dress, mess it up a bit and add fake blood, and you’re Stephen King’s 'Carrie.' Or pick up a whole new outfit on the cheap, run it over in the driveway a few times, add fake blood, and you’re a zombie. The ideas are only limited by your imagination.
