Adults That Move Back Home Stay For Three Years
According to a survey from Daily Mail, if your adult children move back home after college, don't expect to get rid of them anytime soon.
The average age a kid needs to move back home is 23 . . . which is a year or two after they finish college. But then they stay for an average of THREE years . . . until they're 26.
One in four kids stay for more than FIVE years . . . and one in eight stay for more than 10 years.
The reason it's so hard to get rid of them is that it's a big help financially. They save about $180 a WEEK in rent, food, and other bills.
Living at home is harder for daughters than it is for sons. One in four adult women say they felt like a child while they were living at home . . . but only one in 10 men felt that way.
