5 Words That We Mispronounce The Most

We all mispronounce words. I'm famous for mispronouncing last names. Sorry! I've also been known to combine words. I like to think I'm not the only person that screws up the English language. Right? 

According to Dictionary.com, we mispronounce these five words more than any other:

1. Coupon. (Pronounced KOO-pon.) Most people say "KYOO-pon,".

2. Mischievous. (Pronounced MISS-cheh-vous.) Most people say "mich-CHEE-vee-ous."

3. Reservoir. Most people say "res-UH-voir."

4. Prerogative. Most people say, "PER-ogative."

5. Espresso. Most people say "EX-presso".
