Year Round Specialty Hotdogs Finally Coming to Twin Falls
Nana’s Hotdog Heaven Plans Year-Round Service with New Expansion
For the past three years, Sherri McNitt, owner and operator of Nana’s Hotdog Heaven, has been serving up specialty hot dogs across the Magic Valley. Now, she’s getting ready to expand from a seasonal cart into a year-round food trailer.
From Food Service to Hotdog Heaven
Sherri has worked in food service since the age of 13. She says launching Nana’s Hotdog Heaven came from a desire to do her own thing and fill a gap she saw in the local food scene.
“I saw a niche that wasn't being filled here in the valley, so I decided to go out and do it,” she said.
She's not wrong. Twin Falls has been without a great hotdog joint since Dale's Dogs closed in the mid 2000s.
Nana's menu features classic all-beef hot dogs and Polish dogs, along with fun specialty items like the BLT Dog (my personal favorite) with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, and the Philly Dog loaded with grilled onions, peppers, garlic mayo, and cheese.
“The BLT was the fan favorite at first,” Sherri said. “But now it's the Philly dog that gets ordered the most.”

Seasonal Dogs Soon To Be Available Year Round
While her cart is scheduled to roll out again in May, Sherri just got her hands on a food trailer that will allow her to serve hot dogs in colder months. The trailer will include the addition of fryers, so she's planning to expand the menu to include items like French fries and maybe a few more surprises.
“I'm hoping to be out at least five days a week, possibly more,” she said. “I’ll be mixing it up between a few different towns—Twin Falls, Buhl, Jerome, and Shoshone.”
Staying in the Loop
“People are always messaging me in the winter asking, ‘Where are you?’” she laughed. “So I’m excited to be able to serve them year-round soon.”
You can follow Nana’s Hotdog Heaven on Facebook to find out where Nana's will be each week, and keep up with her plans to expand into serving up epic dogs year-round.
