Just after 10 P.M. on the evening of February 15, 2007, a witness saw a man leaving an area ball field shortly after hearing what was described as 'firecrackers,' according to details provided by The Idaho State Journal. No description of the person was given; it was just a silhouette running.
The victim's family still has no idea who killed their loved one, now roughly six months shy of 20 years.

The Killer Of Yazzie Plentywounds Remains Unpunished For The 2007 Boise Murder

Yazzie Plentywounds was 26 years old when he was shot to death near the Red Rock Christian Church on Roosevelt Street in Boise, according to Uncovered. Plentywounds was living in the Caldwell area when he was murdered.

Yazzie wasn't found until an area search was done the following morning, according to Uncovered. Someone who might still live in the area murdered Yazzie on this winter night nearly two decades ago. The killer may have shared the story with another person.
