I will warn you that even after reading this, you still might not understand what I'm about to say. A national website is claiming that Idaho's summers aren't quite as good as other states due to the fact that we're still obsessed with former BSU quarterback, Kellen Moore.

Follow me on this one (if you can). Thrillist ranked the states based on how miserable our summers are. Idaho came in at #33 for the weirdest of reasons. I'll let you read Thrillist words and see if you can figure this out.

Imagine a Washington or Oregon summer, except the food isn’t quite as good, there’s no ocean, and people weirdly won’t shut up about the college football exploits of somebody named Kellen Moore.

If you're new to Idaho and/or weren't here during the "Kellen Moore Era", he was a very successful quarterback for the Boise State Broncos. The team only lost 3 games during his time here. There are many BSU fans that consider him one of the best college quarterbacks ever. If you think I'm joking, check out all the tributes to him on YouTube like this one.

OK, so this Idaho adoration of Kellen Moore does kind of border on stalking. But, what in the heck does this have to do with our summers?
