We Remember September 11th

We become so consumed with our lives that over time, we may not remember our exact feelings that we experienced 13 years ago. September 11th hits home with all of us, and digging deep to remember how we felt 13 years ago is our American duty. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't think about September 11th until I got to work this morning and wrote today's date. And in that very instant, I remembered exactly where I was... and how empty and sad I felt as I watched the Twin Towers fall to the ground on television so many years ago.

I am reminded of everyone who lost their lives, the fear we felt and the warmth of complete strangers coming together in a tragic time. The United States changed on that day. This change has effected all of us.
