In a scene straight out of a Cheech and Chong film, a motorist in Washington State was recently arrested after it was discovered he had a devise used to smoke weed self- installed in his car's dashboard. It is illegal to operate a motor vehicle under the influence of marijuana...everywhere.

I've seen some pretty inventive additions to automobiles in my time, but never have I heard of what an Evergreen State resident did in the way of automobile modification. Police 340 miles west of Moscow, Idaho, near the community of Olympia, Washington, responded to a call of a pursuit days ago and found the suspect's vehicle abandoned, according to ABC 7 News.

Washington State Man Arrested After Police Find Bong Mounted To Dashboard

Following an arrest of the driver, Washington State police determined the man had nearly 100 prior arrests, according to ABC 7 News. The driver was arrested while walking down a street near where the vehicle was parked and has been booked into Thurston County Jail, according to the report.

While recreational marijuana use is legal in the state of Washington, modifying an automobile in a way that facilitates its usage is against the law.
