Idaho Police Arrest Motorcyclist Caught Going 115 Miles Per Hour

The incident happened on March 23rd, a little before 4 PM in Southern Idaho’s Canyon County. Idaho State police troopers noticed a motorcycle eastbound on Interstate 84 near mile marker 29 in Caldwell, traveling at a high speed and weaving between slower vehicles during a high-traffic time of day without using turn signals. A trooper clocked the bike at 115 miles per hour.

ISP stopped the biker, a 27-year-old rider, who admitted to speeding on the brown 2018 BMW R1200 motorcycle. The rider was arrested and cited for reckless driving. The motorcycle was impounded.

In the social media post and news release from the Idaho State Police, drivers were reminded of the dangers of excessive speed, lane splitting, and aggressive driving.
