Twin Falls Library Hosts Massive Play Date For Families
Head down to the Twin Falls Public Library this weekend for a massive play date that is fun for everyone. It is a great way for kids and adults to make friends and get to know each other. Think of it as a massive networking event for busy adults with families.
Sure this event is going to be tons of fun for the kiddos. They can meet new friends, get some of that energy out and maybe find out they are in love with books. It is also good for adults though. One thing they forget to tell us when we get older is how hard it can be to make friends with other adults. I don't even have children and I find it difficult to make friends. I can only imagine how hard it can be for parents, single parents especially.
This Saturday, November 9th from 10 a.m. to noon it is your chance to mingle with other adults. Maybe find people with the same interests. If your child has a disability, maybe you meet more children with the same struggles and share parenting techniques with each other.
The library is going to have play stations set up throughout the children's department of the library so parents can still supervise their children while getting to know other adults. It would also be good if you have a kid that struggles making friends.
My friends and family with children almost all have the same complaint when it comes to their lives. They struggle finding people to connect with that also have children or understand what it is like to have children. This looks like a great event to try to combat some of the frustrations of feeling alone in parenting.
