‘Tis the season for berry pickin’

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Raspberries fresh and ready for picking minutes from my house. I know, many people have raspberries growing in their own private gardens. I am not one of those people. I do love fresh produce, and I love the opportunity it provides my 13 year old to pick them for her own smoothies. Gives her a little appreciation for the work that goes into getting the food to the table! So, until my own garden grows, I'll reap the benefits at the Breckenridge Endowment Farm U-Pick Garden at CSI.

Don't fret. They have - or they have in the past - more than just raspberries. It's just what's ready right now. I'm gonna grab a couple containers and go. It's only until the 30th!
