Opinion: How Idaho Does In Lead Actor In ‘The Madison’ TV Show
For Idaho fans of writer and director Taylor Sheridan, best known for Yellowstone, his latest project, starring Kurt Russel and Michele Pfeiffer, is truly a work of art.
A few weeks ago, I wrote an opinion piece regarding the brainchild of such hit shows as Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Landman, 1883, and other widely popular shows on the Paramount Network. I've been a fan of Sheridan since the first season of the Kevin Costner-led drama, filmed in Montana and Utah, was released in 2018. His newest show, The Madison, might be his best work so far.
Of all these terrific programs he's helped create, I felt he hit a snag with Marshals, one of his newest projects that came out earlier this year. I have stopped watching the show because I feel the storyline is boring and repetitive, and the acting isn't on par with the other series Sheridan has developed.
There are also too many loose ends in Marshals. Why was Kayce's wife, Monica, killed off before the show, and where the hell is the rest of his family from the Yellowstone series?

One Of The Lead Actors In The Newest Taylor Sheridan Series Gets Killed Off By An Idaho Landmark
I'm back now, and here to officially proclaim that Sheridan has more than redeemed himself with The Madison, which is filmed in Montana as well, according to Town & Country. Pfeiffer and Russel are fantastic together, even though Russel's character (SPOILER ALERT COMING) loses a head-to-head battle with what is supposed to be Idaho's Mount Borah in an airplane death sequence in the first episode of the series.

The Madison is a great show, and the filming locations in Montana offer a stunning glimpse into the state. I just hope the rumors that the show is a one-season and done effort are all false.
