The aftermath of a fatal fall in California by a student escaping from a bully continues to draw a lot of attention from parents across the United States. The incident happened at a school in Los Angeles County on September 30 and has raised concerns over bullying policies currently being practiced on American campuses.

Footage has gone viral from Benjamin Franklin High School in Highland Park, showing two teenagers involved in a verbal altercation in the front of a classroom. A teacher is also seen attempting repeatedly to diffuse the situation moments before one of the teens punches the other in the face.

The struck teen then proceeds to stand up, run out of the classroom, and jump over a railing four stories up, where he falls to the cement beneath, causing fatal injuries.

Campus incidents where one pupil resorts to physical violence against another to settle a dispute reflect poorly on the parents. They just do.

Teachers should never be put in these types of situations, and it's absolutely tragic what happened to the victim.

Do schools in Idaho need to implement a zero-tolerance policy resulting in permanent expulsion for bullying for the aggressor that leads to a physical altercation? What do you think?
