The Fear of Losing Your Cell Phone is Now the Most Common Fear in the World
We've heard of NOMOPHOBIA before . . . that's the feeling of anxiety you get when you're away from your cell phone. But we didn't realize it had reached THIS point.
According to a new study by a company called SecurEnvoy from Daily Mail, losing your cell phone is now the most common fear in the world. About 66% of people worldwide have some feeling of anxiousness when they're away from their phone.
That's up from 53% four years ago. They didn't say what the second-most common fear is . . . but whether it's spiders, heights, snakes, being buried alive, whatever, it's not as common as nomophobia.
