The Band Perry to Perform at Super Bowl Weekend Party With a Purpose
What's better than football, food and music? Football, food, music and raising money for a good cause! The Band Perry will be performing at an event that combines all four of those things on Super Bowl Weekend 2017.
TBP are slated to perform at the 26th Annual Taste of the NFL Party With a Purpose, which is being held in Houston, Texas, on the eve of Super Bowl LI (Feb. 4, 2017). Celebrity chefs Andrew Zimmern, Richard Blais and Alex Guarnaschelli will host the charity event, with help from current NFL players, as well as alumni and Pro Football Hall of Fame members, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit Taste of the NFL, which helps feed those in need in every one of the 32 cities in which an NFL team plays.
Party With a Purpose was designed to pair delicious food and the celebratory atmosphere of the NFL's biggest game of the year, and help those in need. The event has raised more than $25 million since its inception, which equates to providing 200 million meals. More information can be found on the Taste of the NFL website.
The Band Perry’s most recent single is “Comeback Kid;” the sibling trio released the song in August of 2016.
TBP aren't the only country artists getting in on the Super Bowl fun in 2017: Sam Hunt will perform at a pre-Super Bowl concert at Club Nomadic, a traveling nightclub that is being built for Super Bowl Weekend festivities, on Feb. 2, as part of the EA Sports Bowl.
