Summer break might be over, but the weather is still warm, and that doesn't mean that swimming has to end. Luckily for residents in the Magic Valley, swimming year-round is an option at the Twin Falls City Pool. It is great to have a place to get out and swim laps, splash around, and work on swimming lessons before summer returns next year. The pool is a great place to go and is affordable as well. The time has come for the pool to get some upgrades, though, and to celebrate these renovations, the pool is putting on a special event. For one night only, you can swim for free at the Twin Falls City pool, and you won't want to miss it.

Twin Falls Pool Renovations

The Twin Falls City Pool has been around for decades, and many families have swam there, learned to swim, and done laps through the years. It is always nice to be able to take a dip on a hot summer day, go inside the bubble in the winter, or have fun and get your energy out with your kids on the weekends. The pool has needed some renovations for a while, and they are finally happening. To be clear, the pool itself will not be renovated, but the building and locker rooms will be. Beginning on Wednesday, September 10, the Twin Falls City Pool will begin the project that will upgrade the locker rooms and improve accessibility and privacy for pool goers. In honor of the project beginning, the pool wants to thank the community for its support.

The Twin Falls City Pool will be offering free swimming on Wednesday, September 10, from 4 PM to 7 PM to celebrate the beginning of the renovations. For those who wonder, the pool will remain open during the construction, and the bubble will return this fall and winter. It is expected that the new locker rooms and the project will be done sometime in the summer of 2026. This is exciting news for those who often visit the pool, as the locker rooms are outdated and a little small. For more on the project, make sure to watch the video in the paragraph above.
