Space Aliens Enforcing Stay at Home Orders?

If you thought police in Philadelphia, Kentucky and Colorado were tough when it came to shelter in place orders, check out Yorkshire, England!  This video was posted a few days ago.  Apparently, local police were in on the joke.  Fans of the long running British TV program, Dr. Who, will recognize the villain. 

The Daleks are old enemies of the various Doctors.  The roving garbage cans are usually foiled at the end of episodes but then regroup for another attempt at wiping out humanity and anything good in the universe.

I suppose this would be the equivalent here in the United States of Darth Vader or Klingons enforcing your home confinement.

We’ve been reasonably lucky in Idaho.  Nobody has dragged anyone off a bus for not wearing a mask.  You haven’t been arrested for playing T-ball with the kids.  You haven’t been fined for worshiping the Lord.

The only pain here is boredom or loss of income.  Coupled together you get quite a scourge.

You can see the short video of the Dalek on patrol at the bottom of the page.  The voice recording absolutely nails the character.  On the other hand, most people really aren’t intimidated by a talking trash barrel.  And while it temporarily breaks the boredom, it’s far too brief.

A doctor told me this morning the number of cases of coronavirus in Idaho should be well on the downward slope by the end of the month and, yet.  Also expects we could see another round in the fall or next winter.
