Idaho is One of the Least Sinful States

Biblically, there are 7 ‘deadly’ sins. These are the most heinous sins that lead a soul to eternal damnation. Committing these sins has a habit of progressing a person into a lifetime of lawbreaking in the secular sector. Think of them as capital crimes of the soul.

What are the 7 Deadly Sins?

These sins can be ranked on a scale of severity:

1. Lust - most often a desire of a carnal nature that if left uncontrolled leads to plenty of trouble.
2. Gluttony - overindulgence in food and drink leads to uncharitable choices and self-indulgence.
3. Greed - acquiring far more than is needed and being unwilling to share or disperse any possessions or money.
4. Sloth - not just lazy in the body, but in the mind. This leads to indifference toward your fellow man.
5. Wrath - uncontrolled anger and rage that can morph into vengeance.
6. Envy - an intense desire for a trait or possession of another person to the point of hatred.
7. Pride - considered the worst of the sins, an overinflated view of yourself with an inability to be humble.

Taking into account all these parameters, how does Idaho rank on a sin scale with the rest of the nation?

So, will people who move to the state eventually skew the numbers, or is it because they don’t exhibit the traits of their home state that they migrate to our great state? Sure, Idaho may be a bit ‘sinless’ and therefore tame, but avoiding the trouble caused by these ‘sins’ isn’t such a bad thing, is it? 3rd place is just fine. Lameness level acceptable.
