Putting a child outside with snow and telling them not to throw snowballs is like going to Daisy's Olde Time Confections and not eating any candy. It stinks! But it's understandable. Snowballs usually lead to snowball fights which usually ends with children in tears. Therefore snowballs are not allowed on Twin Falls school playgrounds.

Safe playground activities at recess are an important part of every Twin Falls students day. The big question is...can snowballs be safe?

If students were allowed to only throw snowballs at designated targets would it be safe? Or can our children not be trusted to only hit a designated target?

I'm asking in honor of every child that has been in trouble for throwing a snowball. Which is basically every student in Twin Falls.
