Real Deals in Twin Falls Hosts Fundraiser for Co-Owner Battling ALS

Twin Falls is coming together to support one of its own, Ron Bingham, co-owner of Real Deals, as he battles a life-threatening disease. On Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM, Real Deals will host a fundraising and support event at their new location, 1503 Blue Lakes Blvd North, Twin Falls, at the shops by Target.

A Community Rallying for Ron Bingham

Ron Bingham, a well-known and beloved member of the Twin Falls community, was diagnosed with ALS in November 2021. For the past 25 years, Ron has loved serving the community as a State Farm agent, and now, the community has a chance to show Ron the immense love and support from the people around him.

About Ron Bingham

Ron is a family man with a large and loving family that includes his wife Cindy, four boys, five stepdaughters, four sons-in-law, and thirteen grandchildren. His passions include spending quality time with his family, singing, music, movies, traveling, boating, and history. Ron is particularly fond of World War II history and enjoys visiting museums. He is also an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and cherished watching his kids play baseball.

The fundraiser at Real Deals will feature ALS merchandise, prizes, raffles, and treats for all attendees. It promises to be a fun and heartwarming event, bringing together the community in support of Ron and his family during this challenging time.

Understanding ALS

May is ALS Awareness Month, making this event particularly timely. ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. It leads to muscle weakness and atrophy, impacting physical function and, eventually, the ability to speak, eat, move, and breathe. There is currently no cure for ALS, making support and awareness crucial for those affected by the disease.
