Let me begin by saying, no, this is not an Artificial Intelligence (AI) story.

If it weren't for a discussion I had recently with a co-worker at 4:30 AM, I would have never learned the story of a man with an amazing backstory who some believe murdered more than 40 people and who would become known as the 'I-5 Killer.'

Some stories are so twisted that it's hard to fathom such events really happened. Following a good deal of fact-checking online, I was able to verify that my co-worker wasn't pulling my leg and that a former draft pick by the Green Bay Packers and male model for Playgirl Magazine later became one of the most brutal serial killers in American history.

The story of Randall Brent Woodfield is indeed a true one.

Woodfield was drafted in 1974 by the Packers and had a career that lasted less than a year. His violent crime spree began soon after failing as a professional athlete, according to numerous sources including YouTube and the Chicago Public Library. He also posed for Playgirl Magazine prior to graduating from sexual assault and rape to cold-blooded murder.

Acclaimed true crime author Anne Rule wrote a book about Woodfield's story and his link to potentially 44 murders throughout Washington, Oregon, and California between 1979 and 1981, the year he was apprehended. The nickname, 'I-5 Killer,' was given to him because of his tendency to leave his victims along the interstate that runs up the West Coast.

Woodfield is still serving time at the Oregon State Penitentiary.

Washington House on Nightmare on Zillow Street

You really can't judge a book - or a house - by its cover. This one looks pretty OK from the outside, but inside you can tell there are stories and probably hauntings there. Also, is that a massive blood stain in the 3rd picture?! This place is listed on Zillow for $275,000.
