Twin Falls Has Ice Cream, Dinosaurs & Royal Bliss This Weekend!

The upcoming weekend in the Magic Valley is full of great events for people of all tastes and ages. From ice cream socials and heritage celebrations, to a rock concert at the fairgrounds and a large screen, immersive dinosaur event at the College of Southern Idaho, there's plenty to keep area residents busy over the next few days.

The weather forecast for this weekend is another hot one, with temperatures expected to hit the middle to upper nineties for both Saturday and Sunday. It just so happens that the biggest events in the area feature either cold beer, shade, ice cream, or air conditioning, so staying cool shouldn't be a problem.

Southern Idaho Events For The Weekend Of July 18 Feature Plenty Of Ways To Keep Cool In The Hot Weather

The College of Southern Idaho will have the air conditioning kicked up for an hour long event focusing on dinosaurs called 'T-Rex." The show runs Saturday evening in the planetarium from 7PM to 8PM.

Another weekend alternative would be to grab a cold beer with friends and check Royal Bliss and others performing at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds Friday night.

The 15th Annual Ice Cream Funday begins Saturday morning at 11 AM with over 15 flavors to sample and plenty other stuff for the kiddos to do. Tickets can be purchased at the Twin Falls City Park. Ice cream eating will continue until 3:30 PM.

Finally, Oakley Pioneer Days continues Friday and Saturday with a car show, live music, a rodeo, breakfast, barbeque lunch in the park, fireworks show, and much more.
