Anyone looking to have a little more music in their Christmas activity lineup is going to be happily busy in the Magic Valley. There are some wonderful events leading up to Christmas and if you plan it right, you may be able to get them all.

The King Fine Arts Center in Burley Has Spirit to Share

Enjoy beginning the season concert experience in December with A Nathan Pacheco Christmas on the 1st. Nathan’s beautiful tenor voice has been heard on tours across the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, and Mexico.

While The Nutcracker is a ballet, it has a classic and memorable musical score people have heard but may have never seen performed. Experience the fantasy December 7th-9th.

The Magic Philharmonic Christmas Concert presents A Cozy Christmas Concert on December 20th at 7:30 PM. This year will feature Dr. Kiya Fife and the Burley High School Bel Cantos and will be conducted by Paul Pugh. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas.

Christmas Music Rings With These Twin Falls Performances

Come to Bethlehem has become a tradition for many families. This year, it will be performed on December 8th and 9th at 541 Orchard Drive in Twin Falls. The music combined with the chance to see nativities from around the world is an awesome way to celebrate.

The CSI Fine Arts Auditorium is sparkling with holiday music.

The Winter Jazz and Symphonic Band Concert kicks the auditorium into musical gear this year with a performance on December 8th. The whole community is invited to come listen and celebrate the musical talent while getting into the Christmas spirit.

The CSI Chamber Choir, Madrigal Ensemble, and a Faculty Christmas Chorale are all coming together on December 11th to present Light From Darkness - A Winter Choral Concert. Expect some cherished classics, newer works, and a world premiere composed by Daniel Gawthrop.

Not to overshadow the others, but there is a chance to see me perform - well, along with dozens of other people, in a presentation with the Magic Valley Chorale. This Christmas performance will feature a children’s choir and guest artists Breeana Wright, Curtis Crafton, and Jodelyn Van Wyk on December 15th and 16th.
