The richest person out of the three states on this list, as well as the richest in the entire country, Jeff Bezos is the richest man in Washington and is a name you might be familiar with. He has been among the richest people in the world for the last few years and is the man who started Amazon out of his garage back in 1994, before ultimately becoming a millionaire and eventually a billionaire. He is currently valued at around $151.9 billion.

When it comes to the richest person in Utah, there isn't one industry that she dominates. Gail Miller is currently worth an estimated $3.9 billion and did so with her late husband through multiple industries such as automotive, sports, real estate, and entertainment. Gail is even a published author as well. With many philanthropic endeavors, she is giving with her money and continues to be a respected figure in Utah.
