WATCH: Idaho Teen Might Be One Of Best Dunkers In The U.S.
Any kid who's grown up sports-minded has attempted to dunk a basketball at some point. The move might be worth just a couple on the score sheet, but the first time it's executed correctly, it feels like 100 points.
You can be the best dunker on the playground, but it doesn't mean you'll develop into a good basketball player. There's a teenager in southwestern Idaho who has earned a reputation for being somewhat of a phenom when it comes to stuffing the rock and has developed into one of Idaho's top young sports talents.
A junior hooper at Centennial High School in Boise has an impressive highlight reel of dunks that have racked up thousands of views on social media sites like TikTok and YouTube. I was even able to find a video of the Gem State baller from a few years back titled 'First Dunk at 13!, where he flushes it on what looks like a 10-foot cul-de-sac hoop.
