The family of a young southern Idaho boy has asked the community for prayers and support as they prepare to face a huge health challenge.

Xaiden Mayner, 2, is going to be heading into the operating room again soon with the hope that Idaho doctors can completely remove his brain tumor. His family established a GoFundMe account and is asking fellow Idahoans for monetary donations to help with medical bills, transportation costs, rehabilitation, and other expenses the family will face in the next few months.

To date, the account has raised over $2,700 to go toward the impending procedure. One surgery was successful in removing approximately 10 percent of the tumor, which has been determined to be non-cancerous, according to information shared on the GoFundMe website.

A Twin Falls resident named RoseMarie Gunderson started the GoFundMe effort on May 22. Unfortunately, the family incurred additional automobile repair costs, making transportation to and from the hospital a challenge. Any additional donations above the initial $4,000 goal would be greatly appreciated.
