A recently completed home just a few miles north of Los Angeles has gained national attention for its unique backstory. The eye-catching dwelling was constructed in just a few short months by an area homeless person.

Move over Property Brothers! A Southern California homeless gentleman has made headlines throughout the United States for erecting a rather impressive home along a dry river channel just off one of the busiest freeways in the country. To see an aerial shot of the makeshift house is almost impossible to believe, it's just a shame that city officials will most likely ask for it to be torn down in the coming weeks.

If I were an area construction foreman I'd be knocking on this dude's door for a chance to bring him onboard.

Regardless of what happens to this man's house made of building scraps, rocks, tarps, and wood, the accomplishment is astonishing in itself. It stands just five miles outside of Los Angeles in an area called Arroyo Seco. The 110 Freeway almost passes right through the man's backyard.

It even appears the homeless man painted the house, which is a nice yellowish color. If I were an area construction foreman I'd be knocking on this dude's door for a chance to bring him onboard.
