There are several planned outdoor Easter celebrations taking place throughout the Magic Valley and beyond in the coming days. Rain will once again return to the region for a few days leading up to Easter Sunday, but the current forecast for southern Idaho is looking very nice for the March 31 holiday.

As it looks right now, Easter Sunday will jumpstart several days of gorgeous weather that will see temperatures rise into the sixties with clear skies, according to regional forecasts. While Idaho fell short of its annual average snowpack total of 184 inches, there is still plenty of powder to enjoy at area resorts for those who want to celebrate the holiday weekend on the slopes.

Egg hunts in gardens are a common activity for many Idaho families, and Easter Sunday looks like a great day to start the process of removing dead plants and flowers and taking care of other related tasks to help prepare your property for the impending spring bloom. It's also not a bad idea to check propane tanks if you're Easter celebration includes an outdoor barbeque.
