ChatGPT Gives Idaho No Love In ‘Prettiest States’ Ranking
There's only one way to truly find out how beautiful a place is, and that's by putting your feet on the ground. Pictures often don't come close to telling the full story, and Idaho is one of those places that you have to immerse yourself in to really get a sense of the state's physical beauty.
I crossed over into southern Idaho for my first time in 2006. It was the year I met my wife, and her mother and five siblings lived in Twin Falls. At first, I can't say I was blown away with the beauty of the region.
As I started spending my first few summers visiting to camp in Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains, the state started to grow on me. Then, I explored the Stanley Lake area, and that's when I began to really feel a connection to the land. Southern Idaho sites like Thousand Springs State Park (Hagerman), Balanced Rock Park, Alturas Lake, Shoshone Falls, and Sun Valley made adapting to the area easy.

Idaho Not In Top 10 Ranking Of ChatGPT's 'Prettiest States'
Of the 16 states I've visited in my life, I'd have to say I'd rank Idaho in the top four or five easily. Only California, Oregon, and Hawaii would rank higher in my opinion.

ChatGPT recently released its list (via Instagram) of prettiest states, one through 50, with one of course being the most beautiful. California got top honors, followed by Alaska, Utah, Colorado, and Hawaii. Idaho ranked fourteenth, if you can believe that.
Do you agree with ChatGPT's assessment? Or, is this list wack as hell?
