Metal Found in Granola Bars Sold in California Sparks Urgent Recall

A variety of MadeGood granola bars sold in stores across California have been recalled due to the possibility that some products ‘may contain a piece of metal’. There have been no reports of injury and this is a voluntary recall by the company as a ‘precautionary measure to avoid a potential safety hazard.’

To see if your MadeGood granola bars are part of the recall you can check the product codes on the boxes according to the list provided by MadeGood. There are 12 varieties of granola with dozens of UPC and Best by Dates, so check the list thoroughly to avoid eating a contaminated product.

MadeGood Granola Bar Recall

A variety of MadeGood granola bars, made between January and November 2024, have been voluntarily recalled due to a possibility of metal pieces in the product.
