
Idaho State Police Report Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Southern Idaho
While the weather was beautiful today in Southern Idaho, it was fatal for a motorcycle driver a few miles north of the Utah border. Idaho State Police have reported a deadly motorcycle crash that happened on Thursday afternoon.
ISP are investigating the accident, and details can be found below.
Man Killed in Southern Idaho Motorcycle Crash Near Utah Border
ISP reported that the accident happened on Thursday afternoon, around 1:20 PM, on Deep Creek Road north of Malad City, in Oneida County. In the report, it states:
A 55-year-old male, of Preston, was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson FLTRX, northbound on Deep Creek Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway, and crashed.
The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and the driver passed away at the scene of the accident. An similar accident happened 8 years ago near Malad City: A 54-year-old male on a Harley Davidson motorcycle passed away a few miles north of the Utah border.

Idaho residents, especially those in southeastern Idaho, should be aware of construction changes along the highway in the Pocatello area. The Idaho Transportation Department has been posting updates on its social media to keep the community updated.
