UPDATE: Missing Idaho Man Found After Car Discovered in Canal
UPDATE: Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office released an update Wednesday evening that they had found the missing man.
ORIGINAL STORY: The vehicle of a missing man was found Monday afternoon in a canal in Twin Falls. The man was not in the vehicle and members of law enforcement are continuing their search for the man.
Car of Missing Man Found in Twin Falls Canal: Search for Body Continues
The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media that on Monday afternoon the vehicle of the missing man, Marvin Orellana-Orozco, had been located in the Low Line Canal on the south side of Twin Falls. Marvin has been missing since Friday night.
Investigators found the submerged vehicle after noticing crash site debris and damage to a guard rail in the area.
Emergency Responders continue the search for Marvin. The Twin Falls Canal Company has been notified and ditch riders have been asked to check their gates and lines.
Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office and Search and Rescue Looking For Missing Man
The search continues for Marvin Orellana-Orozco as deputies and search and rescue crews work through their third day of searching. A helicopter has been implemented to help in the search along with ground searches.
