Airline Launches Direct Flight from 'SoCal' to Tiny Idaho Airport

It's launched, it's live, and starting soon, there's going to be a brand new direct flight coming and going from Idaho. Yes, another one and yes, Idaho--we're growing.

When is the last time you caught a flight out of Boise? Sometimes it can be difficult getting out of Boise and straight to your destination, but we do have options..

The NEWEST direct flight to and from Boise includes two stops (it seems like we're announcing these more and more as of late).

It will be operated by Alaska Airlines, the only global airline that operates on the West Coast! It seems that their footprint in Idaho is only getting larger and larger!

The first new direct flight will be between San Diego, California and (the very tiny) Sun Valley, Idaho. The seasonal flight, which will operate through the winter, is going to operate three times a week beginning on December 18th, 2025!

The second new direct flight is going to be out of the much larger Boise Airport--and it will be a year-round offering! The flight will get travelers to and from Ontario, California. It will begin in January of 2026!

Perhaps the best thing about both of these two flights? The planes used have no middle seats! Hooray!
