Boise Fire Department Seeks Candidates for ‘Coolest Job in the World’

Here in the Treasure Valley, we're lucky to live in such a safe and friendly place. With the exception of a few outliers of course--people here don't care about much more than just looking out for their neighbors.

The same can be said for our first responders who keep us safe every day.

As Boise grows, so too do the needs of our local police and fire departments--the Boise Fire Department in particular is hoping to recruit some new 'life savers'--and the application window only opens once a year.

Want the coolest job in the world, and a career that makes a real difference in your community? This could be your moment! Applications to become a Boise firefighter are open through August 23. Don’t wait! The next opportunity won’t come around until next year.

Our local firefighters are heroes--so many times each year, we share stories about their hard work in the community. When fire strikes, not only is property in danger but so often, people are in danger. Time and time again, it is our local firefighters that run into the threat for our safety.
